Zoo trip

On Tuesday we went to the zoo it was lots of fun.The zoo trip was our end year trip.

We went to learn more about zoo animals.   

My favourite part was the kune kune pigs because they were hard to find the answer.  The challenging part was the scavenger hunt because the questions were hard.
My favourite animal was the kune kune pigs because they were messy.

 

Wool cat eye's

Today we made wool cat eye's we made them because it's the end of the year.

Materials:
(2x) Ice block sticks
Hot glue
Wool
Scissors

Step:
1.Glue your sticks together in a X.
2.Next get the wool you will like on your cat eye and cut it 2 meters long.
3.Make a X at the bottom of the stick X.
4.Start to weave over and around.
5.Once you have finished you can add buttons to it.
6.Then it should look like this...

Last week room 14 made sun flower art work. Vincent Van Gogh was a famous artist. He was born on 30 of march 1853 and died on the 29 of July 1890.Vincent Van Gogh stared painting when he was 27.He looked up to Millent, Theo Van Gogh and Gaughan. My art work is a picture of three(3)

A horizon line is a line that is straight across the page.A vanishing point is a dot that everything leads to.

The objects look smaller when it gets closer to the vanishing point.One point perspective is one persons view of an object.

Cross Cuontry

On Friday the 9 year old boys and the 9 year old girls ran 1 k. We had to run up and down hills and in mud. I found the hardest running up the hills.I'm most proud of coming 6th.  

Dianne Rodger

On the 20th August a special visitor Dianne Rodger came in it was really cool.She ran 1500m for one of her races and another race she  ran was 3000m. She trains 2 times a day.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

Clever cupcake

Check out this work of art!  This delicious, clever creation was given to Mrs Gunn on Friday from Oliver and his family – it is a daffodil cupcake.  The flower has been made completely out of icing!  Isn’t it amazing – it looks so real . . . . and tastes so yummy!
